Two Poets at M&Q

Matvei Yankelevich and William Waltz read from their new poetry, Sunday, October 11, 7:00pm, at Magers & Quinn Booksellers.

Matvei Yankelevich is a founding editor of Ugly Duckling Presse, where he designs books, co-edits 6x6, and edits the Eastern European Poets Series. He is the author of a long poem, The Present Work (Palm Press, 2006). His writing has appeared in various small and tiny literary journals and on-line publications. From 1999 to 2001 he co-edited The Emergency Gazette of Theater Matters, with Yelena Gluzman.

William D. Waltz is the author of Zoo Music. His poems have appeared recently or are forthcoming in Black Warrior Review, Court Green, Denver Quarterly, jubilat, POOL, and Washington Square. He lives in Saint Paul where he edits the magazine Conduit. He’ll be reading from his manuscript Adventures in the Lost Interiors of America.
