It's official. Oprah has announced her next book pick, and the world must sit up and take notice. This time around it's Ken Follet's The Pillars of the Earth. The novel tells the tale of the building of a twelfth-century English cathedral and promises "a struggle between good and evil that will turn church against state, and brother against brother."Oh, and get reading, Oprahites. The book weighs in at a healthy 970 pages.--David E
