Brooklyn-based Archipelago Books has won a International Literature Award from the National Endowment for the Arts. Publishers Weekly reports, "The National Endowment for the Arts has named the three recipients of its International Literature Awards, which grant $10,000 to small presses to publish works in translation."Magers and Quinn is pleased to have a large supply of Archipelago's titles including the award-winning Gate of the Sun (The New York Times Book Review Notable Books of 2006, Fiction, Christian Science Monitor’s Best Fiction of 2006, and San Francisco Chronicle Best Books of 2006: Fiction); Three Generations; A Dream in Polar Fog; and Auguste Rodin.
