Not only are the covers of the French editions of Steig Larsson's books incredibly different from their American counterparts, but the titles too are much more continental. What we know as
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo hews closer to its Swedish original; it's called
Men Who Didn't Like Women in French.
The Girl Who Played With Fire is the much more poetic
The Girl Who Dreamed of a Can of Gasoline and a Match. And the third book--
The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest--is the fantastic
