Author Ron Jacobs (above, left, at the Eastern Sports & Outdoor Show in Pennsylvania recently) writes children's books that... um, aim... to encourage safe and responsible hunting. His book Little Jake's Big Bowhunt is Bambi told from the hunter's point of view. I can't say too much about Little Jake and the Three Bears, but suffice it to say not every bear makes it out of the woods alive. Info on the series is at www.littlesportsman.com.
