(A: Jean-Marie Gustave Le Clezio) They managed to uncover a " a Le Clezio expert from Birmingham University," one Beatrice Damamme-Gilbert. She gives thumbnail sketches of five of Clezio's books. They also tracked down a Clezio hater. "[S]ays David Platten of Leeds University, ... generally speaking the Frenchman is 'pretty dull'."
