
The 2007 Caldecott Medal winners (recognzing excellence in illustrated books for young children) have been announced. The medal winner is
Flotsam by David Wiesner. It's a book without words, picturing life underwater.
2007 Honor books are
Gone Wild by David McLimans (an alphabet book whose letters are endangered animals) and
Moses: When Harriet Tubman Led Her People to Freedom by Kadir Nelson.
