Today on NPR, Daniel Pinkwater raved--absolutely raved--about the New York Review of Books' children's reprint series. As with their books for grown-ups, the NYRB finds underappreciated classics (such as store fave The Dud Avocado) and brings them back to today's readers. The kids books are beautiful--gorgeous covers and charming illustrations.
